Bowl Full of Joy

 Bowl2

As the summer wanes, and the tomatoes are both at their peak out here on the Colorado high plains, and at the end of their road, I am reminded of this season's bounty and heart breaking beauty. The autumnal equinox is on Thursday and some of our nights are getting down into the 40's – I've actually worn a sweater the past few mornings. The summer here (despite the fires) was one of the best I remember for a very long time. Feeling joy for what once was, and turning my taste buds and thoughts to cozying up to autumn. A poignant reminder to love each season with abandon.

  1. I really enjoyed your studio shots! One of my favorite things to see are the workspaces of artists. Your studio looks absolutely lovely! as well as your work.
