We have been besieged by a massive forest fire in the mountains just west from where I live. A terrible kind of beauty. 91 homes have burned and the fire, as of today, is zero percent contained. I have been visualizing rain and just holding all those affected in my higher thoughts. At night the firefighters say that the fire, "lays down", and it is then that they can make progress in taming it. Let's hope and pray it lays down soon.
Have been following the #boulderfire on twitter. The photos, as you stated – the tragic beauty in fire. Praying for rain. And help for those in need now, and in the days, months, years ahead. Loosing your home. sigh. Take care.

Wow. I’ve been so out of the loop lately and in my own world. I had no idea, and this is so sad. We fear for them every year here in so. cal. I hope it is easing.
