PLAY Eye Candy

Poetry

There was a lot of great work coming out of the PLAY weekend. In fact at times it was all I could do to keep my fanny in my seat for all the juicy goodness going on around me. I just wanted to jump up and cruise around the room looking at everybody else's wonderful creativity spilling forth.

Cross

Quiet pages…

Dancers

…energetic pages…

Fish

…vivid and playful pages.

Journal-1

Tracy taught his relic journal and covers were constructed with sculpey and then painted and sewn together.

Journal-2

This tome will certainly hold many marvelous stories!

Heart

I haven't worked with sculpey but am intrigued with it's endless sculptural qualities.

Portrait-1

Teesha and Tracy's talented daughter Tiphoni (recent RISD graduate) taught watercolor self portraits.

Portrait-2

These lovely faces the result. So much talent in one room!

Dog

I love this dog watercolor portrait too. Wonderful inspiration from a really joyous group of fellow artists! Thank you for sharing yourselves.

  1. Looks like the Create-a-ratti were out in full force.
That dog portrait rocks the house!

I’m also impressed that everyone was open to having their books photographed.

    Yeah for Play!

  2. Hi Fran, I was just writing to tell you how much I enjoyed your PLAY entries. I sat at the table across the way. It never ends how many different projects and ideas come out of these events. I want to PLAY more, work less. Hopefully we’ll all-and more-be at Play in 2011.
