Well the holidays caught up with me….I have a cold. It's been through the family. Now it's my turn. I made it through 2 Hanukkah dinners (for 16 and 8) , our annual Christmas Eve skating party (for 50), and Christmas Dinner (for 9). And now I have an excuse to laze about with impunity. Or maybe with immunity. Anyway, today I slept in and watched this wonderful movie. If you haven't seen it, rent it soon. Sweet and poignant, it won the Toronto Film Festival's People's Choice Award. It's such a positive and moving portrayal of a latino family and a special friendship. We really need more movies like this. Add it to your Netfix queue and pass the tissues.
